Booking is essential for our Christmas photo shoots! Sessions go live for booking on AUGUST 31ST with a link on this page. These family photo sessions are in high demand year after year and are loved by everyone. While there is no specific age range, babies who can sit unaided tend to get the most out of the setup, and children over 16 can sometimes limit the session if there are multiples involved. 

Your session time will fly by, trust me! Arriving a few minutes early helps everyone feel calm and ready. Please remember that if the studio door is closed, the previous client may still be there getting ready to leave, so waiting in the hallway is advised.

Whether it’s your baby’s first Christmas or a cherished family tradition, Christmas photography offers a beautiful way to create timeless memories filled with warmth, laughter, and sparkle during your family photo sessions and holiday photo shoots. 

Build excitement for your Christmas photoshoot by telling your children you’re going on a Christmas adventure! Let them know 'Stephanie' is thrilled to meet you and see you again. Say things like: "We’re going to Steph's Christmas happy place to take fun pictures for our family photo sessions!" 

A relaxed, playful attitude helps children enjoy the session — I'll make them feel special when they arrive, but more often than not, preparing them and getting them excited pre-appointment helps improve their mood. This way, we can dive straight into the session without wasting valuable photography time warming them up.

Once you have booked your session, you will receive a confirmation email with all the essential details, including location and parking. 

Coordinating outfits makes a big difference —think soft whites, beiges, creams, golds, or tartan details—all perfect for a festive look during family photo sessions. Avoid logos or overly bright colours that can distract from your family’s natural expressions. 

Pro tip: Lay out everyone’s outfits together a few days before your holiday photo shoots to see how they look together.

You don’t need to worry about posing during our Christmas photography sessions — I’ll gently guide you and your family throughout. My goal is to capture authentic, joy-filled moments that showcase your family’s love and holiday spirit. I achieve this during our family photo sessions by creating prompts and secretly snapping those heart-warming moments.

After your shoot, you’ll receive access to your private online gallery where you can choose your favourite images from your family photoshoot. If you wish, you can also upgrade your package at this time. Each image will be carefully edited in my signature warm, festive style — perfect as gifts for loved ones.
